    In case you didn’t already know, my favorite character is Sanji. <3

    These are the three main reasons why I love him.

    1. His look: This one is a bit shallow and embodies my fangirliness. But honestly, he is a beautiful character. I love everything about his design: His hair, his clothes, his legs, even his curly-eye brow. He also has a very unique design. He isn’t the typical pretty-boy, shojo style blondie, and I like that he still is gorgeous besides that.
    2. His emotions: I love his Ero-Cook side. A lot of people say that he is just a womanizer and he can’t commit to women, but I refuse to don’t believe that. His Ero-cook side shows that he is unafraid to show his emotion, whether it is attraction to a woman or loyalty to his captain. That is what separates him from Zoro (who shares a lot of characters with Sanji). Sanji is much more open about his emotions, and is not afraid or embarrassed to let them show. He doesn’t care if his “tough-guy” persona is damaged, and that is one of the main reasons I love him.
    3. His strength: Not only do I love Sanji’s physical strength and powers, I also love his mental strength and his cunningness and resourcefullness. I feel like sometimes people forget all the work he does behind-the-scenes that save the Straw Hats because he doesn’t have as epic fights scenes as Luffy and Zoro. Despite the fact he is one of the strongest characters in the series, he has shown that he is a brilliant tactic and strategic fighter as well. The best example is him taking on the persona as “Mr. Prince,” his internal sabotage of Enel’s Maxim, and his planning that helped the Straw Hats follow the CP9 to Enies Lobby to save Robin. This proves that Sanji has both brains and brawns. 

    In summary, I love Sanji with all my heart.

    3. bluenosedreindeer said: YES! I love when everyone’s running around in battle-mode and Sanji just quietly slips away to sabotage the enemy in some brilliantly cunning way that ultimately helps the Straw Hats save the day. He doesn’t get enough props for that.
